Christmas Cones for Chairs

In our kitchen, we have an island with three stools and a pot-rack that hangs over the island. This year for Christmas I hung these ‘Christmas cones’ I made, on the back of the stools and decorated the pot-rack with coordinating ribbon on swags. I picked up the fabrics at our local hardware store that has a ‘dollar table’ for fabric. Less than 1/2 yard of each of the green ‘twelve days of Christmas’ fabric and the blue/gray check fabric would be enough to make these cones and the ribbon for the pot-rack swags. A Pair of Partridges and a Tree Pillows

This pair of partridge pillows and coordinating tree branch with birdhouses pillow I sewed up this week after being inspired from the Crate and Barrel catalogue a couple days ago. Rustic Twigs get a Gilded Finish for Christmas

One year for Christmas, my husband gave me Christmas dinnerware themed ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas” along with this set of glass ornaments. This little maid-a-milking is one of my favorites. They were so beautifully detailed I didn’t want to just hang them on the Christmas tree to mix and blend in with all the other ornaments. So I snipped some sturdy twigs from outside that had nice branching growth, in order to be able hold a few ornaments on each one, and spray painted them metallic gold.
