Living Room in Our 100 Year Old House

The living room in our 100 year old house is the first room you enter from the front entry. It faces North and has a cozy wood burning fireplace. This room is used for evening TV watching and reading by the fire, so the colors in here are purposely very handsome and dark. Although too much dark is too over whelming to me, so I’ve offset the dark brown walls with the same white trim and ceiling as the rest of the house.
