Best Mother’s Day Gift

Get ready, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I’m here to help you out! I have the best Mother’s Day gift recommendation.

A couple years ago our daughter-in-law and son gave us this gift and it’s so wonderful, I wanted to share it with you!

We have several grandkids and love every minute we get to spend with them. Sometimes though it’s just not possible and that’s why we love this gift. Every single day we look at it we feel a little part of them is with us. It’s fun too, how it’ll spark conversation, remembering the occasion, reminiscing how little they were or some fond memory the photo brings up.

So what is it? What is this gift that I think will be the best Mother’s Day gift?

Right here on our buffet, in the front left, is the Aura Frame I’m referring to.

It’s available to order HERE.

When I say we look at it every single day, I mean multiple times a day for sure!

It’s so fun because everyone that I add to my account can download the Aura app and add pictures and videos to our frame. So, we’ll start noticing new photos that one of our kids or grandkids have added.

The Aura picture frame is the perfect size. Not so large it’s hard to fit in, and not too small that you can’t see the photos without being really close to it.

In fact, we’ll sit across the room at the dining table and easily view the photos sliding by.

This was the easiest set-up. There were only a couple steps, even a non technical person could do it. All you need is an electric plug in and WIFI to connect it to. The rest is controlled on the Aura app, which is super simple too.

You set how long you want each picture to stay on the frame, before it slides across to show the next photo in the lineup. I think I have ours at 1 minute.

It splits the screen for portrait shaped photos.

The photos will continue to take turns all day long. At night when the lights go off, it senses the darkness and will go to sleep too, and automatically turn back on with the next morning’s light.

Even our goofball Millie like to watch it occasionally.

It seems she will recognize one of the kiddos, or the video will catch her attention.

The actual frame is very stable and has a design that looks like a modern matted picture.

There is a simple touch slide on the top of the frame to go back or forward through the slide show if there was something you missed and wanted to see again.

Took me forever to figure that out….

Okay, I didn’t figure it out, my granddaughter, Cate did, and showed me how to go back to a previous photo.

Very simple hook-up, just a single cord plugs into electric outlet.

Here on the back is where that single cord is attached.

Everything is controlled by the Aura app.

The set up and app are extremely simple and designed for anyone to be able to understand, even non-techy people!

You add and delete photos through the app.

In the app you determine how long the photos stay on before changing to next photo.

Another option is if you want your videos to automatically play sound. We opted for it not to. When we see it’s a video we can just manually tap the frame and the sound will start up for that video.

I truly recommend getting the Aura frame for the best Mother’s Day gift or for someone you love, including yourself. We love watching it so much! This has been one of the best and most used gifts for us.

Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate you reading along.
