Here’s a super quick, super simple clever use of Velcro, and it’s not what you think!
For this simple use, I use the Velcro that comes with the adhesive on the back.
So what is the super, simple, clever use for self-adhesive Velcro?????
Ta-Da:
Do you see it there? Up there in the corner of the inside of the drawer front. (Mind the paint peeling in the corner too… oops.)
So what’s the reason to put Velcro there?
Well, I have found, after using both rubber and felt pads for a bumper to stop the ‘slamming’ sound of closing cabinet drawers and doors, that actually, the hook part of Velcro deadens the sound and holds up the best of all those choices.
It’s nice too, that you can buy Velcro, or a Velcro type product as either the hook part or the loop part, so it’s not like you’re wasting the loop part.
So who knew? Another simple clever use for Velcro!
