Ballard Designs Light on Clearance! Perfect… almost.

A couple days ago I showed you the round wicker side table I’ve had for many years and recently refreshed with a ‘bird painting’ on it. Well above that table is this light I bought from Ballard Designs on clearance:

I love checking the ‘estate sale’ at and happened upon this light…

perfect! I thought, well it would be after…

I swagged it, and…

Yep! Connected it via the handy ‘chandelier adapter’ for track lighting! I’ve used these wonderful convenient adapters soooooo many times! In our dining room, and at the brick cottage when I made the canning jar lights too, and now here in our piano/library room.

Now I have the best of both worlds, I have the track light spotlight fixtures for necessary lighting, and I have the cute character of this hanging chandelier over the bird table vignette too.

Yay!! I was featured:

What a wonderful corner! The light fixture with the table makes it! Love the blue porcelain in the bookcase too. What is that material on your ceiling…is that grass cloth? Great texture! 😉
