Someone Else’s House…Welcome to the Front Entry!

I recently introduced you to my friend’s house by showing you her “Sun-filled Front Sitting Room” in a series of 7 posts.

From this gorgeous front sitting room, you can see  the front entrance door and hall that we’re going to visit now.

Once you enter the door, you’re greeted with this wonderful bench vignette centered on a vintage braided rug.

The green color in the rug perfectly matches this green antique crock she set on the bottom of the antique coat tree.

Her positioning of these vintage paintings is perfect for the unique shaped wall space due to the stairway. And the charm of the distressed frames looks so pretty on the pale yellow walls.

I love this entry. The black bench contrasted against the light yellow walls and white woodwork ‘pops’ and with the accents of green a wonderful introduction to the color scheme of the adjoining room, and certainly a welcoming front entrance to all who enter.

Here are more posts I’ve written about entry renovations and re-dos:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please feel free to follow and share this blog with your friends, as well as on Facebook, Pinterest, Flipboard, Bloglovin, YouTube and Instagram! I appreciate you reading along.
